Our Lady of the Sacred Heart School recently organized a two-day leadership training program under the Augustinian Recollect Student Council (ARSC). The training, held on September 13 and 14, focused on developing leadership skills based on the themes "Foundations of Leadership" and "Leadership Through Service."

Day 1: Foundations of Leadership

The first day featured a session on "Augustinian Leadership Styles and Qualities," presented by Divine Grace Pineda-Vidal. This session introduced students to leadership concepts inspired by Augustinian values, emphasizing humility, integrity, and effective leadership practices. Later, the participants engaged in an interactive session called "Camp Fire: Leadership in Action," where they applied leadership skills through practical exercises.

Day 2: Leadership Through Service
On the second day, the focus shifted to enhancing essential leadership abilities. Mr. Russel M. Anore delivered a talk on "Communication Skills," highlighting effective communication as a cornerstone of strong leadership. This was followed by Ms. Nenita C. Clores’ session on "Conflict Resolution Strategies," providing students with tools to manage and resolve conflicts.

In the afternoon, Mrs. Jonna P. Euraoba led a discussion on "Smart Goals," emphasizing the importance of setting clear and achievable objectives for effective leadership. The program concluded with an insightful keynote by Rev. Fr. James Dexter Tanquis, OAR, on "Leadership Through Service," which underscored the significance of serving others as a core value of true leadership.

The ARSC Leadership Training Program equipped students with the necessary skills and inspiration to lead effectively, embodying the principles of communication, conflict resolution, goal-setting, and servant leadership.
